Welcome to Full Speed Ahead Productions

Founded by Charles Schrodt, Full Speed Ahead Productions is an independent film and video production company based in the Southern Gulf Islands and Vancouver, British Columbia.

With more than 25 years of experience in film and television, Charles has worked across multiple sides of production as a director, cinematographer, camera operator, producer and professional drone operator. That experience shapes how we approach every project: understand what needs to be accomplished, keep the process straightforward, and make the work look damn good.

Our work spans film and television, documentary, commercial and corporate production, branded content and professional aerial cinematography. Depending on the project, Full Speed Ahead can handle everything from initial concept and production through filming, aerial work, editing and final delivery.

The West Coast is a big part of who we are. Based in Vancouver and the Southern Gulf Islands, we work throughout Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Island and across British Columbia — and travel across Canada for productions and projects.

Full Speed Ahead Productions takes a hands-on, collaborative approach to every project. We work closely with our clients from the first conversation through final delivery, bringing together the right people and resources for each production. Whether we're working with a local business, production company, organization or national brand, the goal is simple: do good work, communicate clearly, and create something we're proud to put our name on.
